Dick Haymes, though overshadowed by Bing Crosby, was one of the more popular male vocalists of the 1940s. This Complete Capitol Collection CD from EMI England is a great resource for becoming acquainted with Haymes’ melodious voice. This 3-CD set of Mozart’s Idomeneo is in very good minus condition. All discs are in excellent, clean condition, as is the comprehensive booklet that comes with the set. The outer sleeve casing has a blue, metallic “property of” sticker on the bottom, and there is some mild bumping to the corners. Take a look at our copy here.
